Welcome to the Breaker Labs Blog, companion to the Breaker Labs Newsletter, an occasional emai about new trends in the Internet industry that is broadly defined as the “third wave.” This newsletter is meant to be a conversation, not a lecture, so I will try to keep it short-winded and unboring, and will count on YOU, some of the top entrepreneurs, executives, and investors in the consumer Internet, to contribute your news and insights. My goal is to start the discussion and then be the curator of your ideas, creating safe place to bat around new concepts with an extraordinarily bright and accomplished community.
When you have something to contribute, critical or otherwise, about the topic or about this newsletter (and I hope you will) please reply to the email and let me know if I can use your exact words and/or your name. I am happy to take comments anonymously. I will choose what gets included in the next edition. I will also take links to interesting articles or anything fun and amusing that you’d like to share with the group. Also, if you’d like to write a segment for the newsletter I will gladly take submissions! There will be prizes, fame, and glory for the best participants.
This is a private email list, but I will put the archives up on a blog at www.breakerlabs.com to make it easy to search, comment, and re-read posts. I make no warranty on this newsletter or what I might to with it. I may keep it small and private, I may open it up, I may charge for it, I may turn it into a book, I may abandon it, or other. If you don’t like it, you can unsubscribe at anytime, of course.
Your friends or colleagues that would benefit from and contribute to this discussion can sign up at www.breakerlabs.com and use your name as the invite code – I’ll consider them.
Finally, for those that want even more discussion on this topic, I’ve set up an email group here: http://groups.google.com/group/breakerlabs.
Enjoy!
Chris
